Replace Dr Who with Game of Thrones/Harry Potter/Lord of Rings/Snow White/…… and you get the caption of the most click-baiting blogs in book/tv/movie pages. One thing I can’t understand is “crazy” is the adjective of “fan” or of “fan’s theory”. I am definitely a crazy fan of Dr. Who and my theory is crazy too so readers may take the adjective in my blog’s title either way they want. For the uninitiated Dr Who is a British Telly series where an alien from planet Gallifrey travels through time and space in Tardis and save the universe again and again.
Long before I became a crazy fan of Dr Who and started fantasising travelling time and space in Tardis I was a crazy fan of Peanuts comics and had fantasised of living in the world without adults. Yes the comic strip you have been seeing in newspaper since you started reading. Drawn and written by the late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. Peanuts strip is a cultural phenomenon. Snoopy was the official mascot of aerospace safety, testing and the rebuilding of the Apollo Program. The Apollo 10 lunar module was named Snoopy. And are these his only brushes with space travelling? Let’s see.
Snoopy the beagle is central to the comic strip full of children. It’s like he is one of the children in the world of Peanuts. He is moody, he is flighty, he is cute, he is a nuisance, he is friendly. In fact he has lots of human friends and an active social life.
How on earth so many children got inside one little dog house? And there are different rooms! These things are just impossible imagination of a cartoonist. Is it? I would say the DOG HOUSE IS BIGGER FROM INSIDE! Yes sir the timelord technology. Timelords are humanoids from the planet Gallifrey. They must be having non-humanoid creatures in the planet. What are odds Snoopy being a dog from Gallifrey! Here’s another proof his dog house is bigger from the inside.
How would you keep a Van Gogh inside an ordinary dog house? The size of the canvas will be most probably bigger than a common dog house.
Snoopy has definitely picked up the dressing quirks of his planet mates. Remember the bow tie?
Snoopy supposedly imagines himself as a fighter is First World War. Or is it that Snoopy travels back in time to First World War to fight like any other Gallifreyian?
And he travels sitting on his dog house. So the dog house is his Tardis.
Snoopy can make friendship with other species too because most probably with help of his Tardis he can understand their languages.
He should be at least seventy years old. In dog years he should have been dead many times over. But then he lives in a world where children stop growing up after becoming eight and adults are perpetually absent. Is it because the universe of Peanuts doesn’t exist in earth? Is it in Gallifrey? That’s why parents are always away in chores like fighting with Daleks etc. Compared to earth humans humanoids from Gallifrey are brainier and their life expectancy is much higher. Same should apply to children too. This explains the long gestation of their childhood. They should be brainier compared to our normal primary school kids. That explains a lot especially Linus.
In spite of the higher intelligence like Doctor they too are big fan of earth’s culture, literature, theology etc. Here I must remind you of Snoopy as The Great Gatsby.
So readers and fans what do you think of this crazy fan theory?
